Posters Illustrating the 12 Dimensions of the Digital Competency Framework

It all began when Caroline Dupuis and Kish Gué, educational advisors at the English Montréal School Board (EMSB), supported a teacher in a project aimed at making one of the dimensions more explicit. This experience inspired the creation of colourful, bilingual, and accessible posters to illustrate each of the twelve dimensions for both students and teachers. The initiative quickly gained momentum among school communities across Quebec.

Encouraged by this enthusiastic response, members of the RÉCIT-Montréal regional table’s digital integration advisory team expanded the project. In addition to the posters, they developed twelve teaching guides and twelve learning activities for primary and secondary school students, also available in both French and English.

The entire collection is presented through an interactive Genial.ly platform and shared under a Creative Commons license, allowing it to be freely reproduced, adapted, and shared according to educational needs.
