Call for Papers: Supporting Change Management in Education

Digital transformation, AI integration, evolving policy directions, pedagogical innovation, and growing attention to staff and student well-being—education systems are in constant motion. While change is inevitable, the way it is supported makes all the difference.

Supporting change management means guiding school leaders, instructional coaches, teachers, and staff through processes that involve both professional competencies and deeply human dimensions. Communication, shared leadership, collaborative culture, professional learning, managing resistance, and valuing field expertise are all key levers in successful transformation.

The Winter 2026–2027 issue of Engaged Learning (Vol. 6, Issue 2) will feature practical strategies, models of support, field experiences, and reflections aimed at fostering sustainable and human-centered innovation within educational settings. From school-wide initiatives to classroom-level practices, the issue will explore how educational communities can navigate transformation with resilience, collaboration, and effectiveness.

Key Questions to Explore

• How can a climate of trust that supports change be cultivated in schools?
• What strategies encourage staff engagement when implementing new practices or technologies?
• How can innovation and well-being be balanced in educational settings?
• What role do instructional leadership, collaboration, and shared expertise play in successful change initiatives?
• How can transformation processes be documented, evaluated, and adjusted for continuous improvement?
• What lessons have emerged from change initiatives in your context?
